In a 5 year old friesian cow carcass multiple whitish- yellowish nodules were observed of caseous appearence and measuring between 2 and 10 mm in diameter. The lesions involved the myocardium, diaphragm and masseter muscles. The inspectors suspected of bovine cysticercosis and submitted samples for histopathological confirmation. (more…)

When the myocardium incisions were performed. in a Parda Alpina breed cow , older than six years of age, a whitish lesion was observed, vesicle-like, which, once cut, it protruded relative to muscle tissue. There were no other lesions in the inspected skeletal muscles (masseter and diaphragm). (more…)
