In a mixed breed 2 years old pig carcass 4 multinodular, hardened masses where observed separately adhered to the rib bones measuring from 3 to 13 cm in diàmeter.

Histopathology revealed an exophytic neoplastic proliferation with formation of well diferentiated cartilaginous tissue with ossification, forming normal osseous trabeculaes with osteocytes, osteoblasts and osteoclasts and even normal bone marrow tissue.

A diagnosis of osteochondroma was established.
