Liver samples were submitted to SESC of a female, hybrid breed, reproductive rabbit presenting a multi-lobed nodule of 2.5 cm in diameter and of whitish colouration with a bright green stipple. When cut a mucous liquid exsudated with green particles of gritty texture.

The histopathological study showed a benign epithelial neoplastic proliferation composed of multiple cystic cavities lined with a well differentiated biliary epithelium. A diagnosis of biliary cistadenoma was established. Green particles correspond, most probably, to bile salts crystals.
