The histopathological lesions showed multifocal granulomatous hepatitis with abundant eosinophilic polymorphonucelar leukocytes therefore indicative of a parasitic etiology. Most likely due to nematodes of the genus Ascaris.

 

Among the differential diagnosis on this kind of lesions one should also consider: Mycobacteriosis and lymphoma.
