  Histopathològic examination evidenced lesions compatible with a simple hepatic cyst lined by conjunctive tissue, a parasite origined lesion is, thus, ruled out. Due to the lesion location, on the surface of the organ parenchyma, the first differential should have been Cysticercus tenuicollis.
