CReSA is granted by the FECYT for activities of scientific culture and innovation

CReSA has been granted by the Spanish Foundation for the Science and Technology (FECYT) to carry out the annual program of activities within the Network of Scientific Culture and Innovation Units (UCC+i).

The project entitled “Annual program of activities of the CReSA Communication Unit: an approach to the society” has been funded by the Program of scientific culture and of the innovation 2011.

The programmed activities include actions for scientific divulgation, communication and training and will be executed during 2011-2012. These activities will show to the society the advances and achievements of the CReSA in animal health research. These results have a great repercussion on public health and food safety. Among other different activities, this grant will allow to continue the publication of the scientific divulgation journal CReSAPIENS.

At the present call, 1.202 applications from public and private Spanish institutions have been presented and 270 (22.5%) have been awarded (4 million € in total).
