Mixomatosis in hares – Video of the project ‘MIXOlepus’

There is currently an outbreak of mixomatosis, a viral disease that affects the hares of the Iberian Peninsula. In July 2018, the first cases of this disease of mandatory declaration in Andalusia were confirmed. The MIXOlepus working group, coordinated by IRTA-CReSA, aims to control this disease in collaboration with other sectors. IRTA-CReSA researcher Ignasi Badiola coordinates the project.
