Representatives from the University of Valparaíso visit CReSA

On October 1st, 2013, a group of representatives from the University of Valparaíso (Chile) met with researchers and management staff of CReSA.

A group of eight representatives from the University of Valparaíso working on transfer of knowledge and technology issues held a meeting at CReSA to better know the running and the model of transference in the center.

After a presentation of CReSA by Elisabet Rodríguez, head of communication at the center, a roundtable on knowledge transfer activities at CReSA was held with the participation of Jordi Casal, Ignacio Badiola and Albert Bensaid, responsible for three research subprograms of CReSA, Montse Pastó, from the Administration Department, and Francesc Xavier Abad, laboratory manager. Finally, visitors paid a visit outside the Biocontaintment Unit of CReSA, unique in Catalonia for its characteristics.

From 23 September until 3 October, this group of representatives from the University of Valparaíso is receiving a training course on technology transfer projects and knowledge at the UAB Research Park (PRUAB). Within the program, different visits to centers are scheduled to know different transfer of knowledge models.
